Glenn Munro

Christchurch

After growing up on a high-country station above the Rakaia Gorge Glenn was keen for an outside career that kept his body fit and my mind active. Glenn started in this industry at age 18. By 20 he thought he had enough knowledge to set up my own business. This was the start of what became PPL.

This was prior to the BCITO setting up our PPCS trade and smack bang in the middle of the dark days of the NZ weather tight homes crisis. Working through this period has given Glenn an unrivalled knowledge of how to, and more importantly how not to build a leaky building. I was at the forefront of our trade becoming one of the first group of exterior plasterers to gain a PPCS qualification in nz. These days he sits on the BCITO national advisory group that sets the standards and criteria for new apprentices coming through our industry.

Glenn is also very proud to be at the front of another huge shift in thinking in the plastering industry gaining his NZQA certificate of construction saftey. His current roles at PPL are customer liaising, job scoping, plan pricing, job scheduling, team captain-mentor, material orderer, delivery boy, computer operator, problem solver and the list goes on.....

When Glenn is not at work you'll find him hanging out with his wife and three kids at the lake, or somewhere in the hills racing my dirt bike.

Rebecca Munro

Christchurch

Rebecca has been here since the beginning alongside Glenn in the day to day running of Properly Plastered Limited. She is the one in control of all the office work that tradies don’t like doing. When Rebecca is not solving Properly Plastered Limited's issues she is pretty much a full-time taxi driver for their 3 kids.

Ian McKay

Ian is the original!

Ian has been employed here at Properly Plastered Limited since the age of 16 which in 2018 will mean he has spent 20 years learning and plying his trade alongside at Properly Plastered Limited. Ian is in control of one of the Properly Plastered Limited teams and what he doesn’t know about the trade isn’t really worth knowing. Ian’s speciality is high-end architectural projects.

Paul Cawood

Paul has been on our team for the since 2011 and has vast knowledge with all aspects of our trade. Paul brings a wealth of experience to each project he is involved in and along with his team of talented tradesmen his work regularly features in the annual RCS awards. On the weekends you will find him spending time with his family at Marching tournaments around the country.

Nathan Cavanagh

Nate is another of our foreman who started here at a young age and has been with us since 2009. After leaving and returning to Christchurch after the earthquakes he completed his PPCS trade with Properly Plastered Limited and has a real thirst for knowledge that he is now sharing with our latest Building and Construction Industry Training Organization (BCITO) apprentices. When not here Nate will more than likely have his head under the bonnet of a car restoration or blasting the hills on his dirt bike.
